On March 9, 1953, Joseph Stalin died in Moscow. His funeral was that of a demigod. Last irony of one of the worst criminals in the history of the 20th century, who brought misery to his people while creating a collective admiration. During more than 30 years of absolute rule, millions of people died.
With Stalin's policy the standard of living fell. The poverty of the early 1930s was evident on the streets of Moscow. In his labor re-education camps, better known as the Gulag, he imprisoned 18 million Russians, turning them into slaves. Machiavellian and paranoid, Stalin invented the impeachment trial, where sentences were set before the start of the hearing. He starved 7,000,000 peasants to death as punishment for refusing his revolution. He had fooled the entire world through false propaganda campaigns.
During World War II, Adolf Hitler set out to destroy Stalin. On June 16, 1941, three million soldiers attacked the USSR. The Nazis took over the city of Stalingrad, which was finally liberated by Russian troops in November 1942. In February 1943 the German troops surrendered. With this victory, Stalin became the first leader to defeat Hitler, which gave him the recognition of the international community.

This propaganda footage was shot by the National Socialists. It shows the opening of the "Haus der Kunst" in Munich in 1937 as well as parades in Berlin on May 1st, 1939.

この演説はゲッベルスの行った演説の中で最も有名なものである。演説はナチス幹部によって、ドイツが深刻な状況に直面しているという最初の告白となった。ゲッベルスはドイツの存続を断言、西洋文明の存続が危ぶまれるため、長く困難が存在しても、戦争を継続するようドイツの人々に演説した。

これまでナチス政権は、第一次世界大戦の失敗を想起させる「国家総力戦」の使用を避け、国民生活が戦争によりひっ迫していないように見せるため最大限の努力をしていたが、この演説で国家総力戦への移行を国民が積極的に容認したとして、公に国家総力戦に対応させるようになった。

Há setenta anos, em 13 de dezembro de 1937, o Exército Imperial Japonês iniciou a tomada de Nanjing, que era então a capital da República da China. Neste período, ocorreram terríveis acontecimentos, incluindo o assassinato de soldados chineses em violação das leis de guerra, atrocidades contra civis chineses, violência sexual contra mulheres chinesas e saques de propriedades chinesas, em uma escala chocante que ainda hoje é difícil de quantificar completamente. A brutalidade e a destruição foram generalizadas, apesar de alguns japoneses terem tentado minimizar os eventos.

A razão pela qual temos conhecimento desses acontecimentos é porque havia uma considerável comunidade estrangeira em Nanjing na época que testemunhou os horrores. Além disso, alguns japoneses dedicaram esforços significativos para preservar registros históricos precisos.

O Massacre de Nanquim é um evento historicamente estabelecido e amplamente aceito, comprovado por uma rica quantidade de evidências e testemunhos pessoais.
