Durante años Hitler fue el invitado de honor del Festival de Bayreuth, el templo de la óperas wagnerianas. El dictador era un ferviente wagneriano y se convirtió casi en un miembro de la familia Wagner, la cual administraba la herencia del compositor. Incluso se involucraba en el festival, decidía acerca del programa y de las puestas en escena. El culto en torno a Richard Wagner, quien murió 50 años antes de la toma de poder de Hitler, adquiría una dimensión política por la presencia del dictador y la música de Wagner, a su vez, reforzaba los proyectos megalómanos de Hitler.

Pero, ¿por qué adoraba Hitler a Wagner? ¿Fue por el antisemitismo del que el músico hizo gala en su tristemente célebre panfleto "Sobre el Judaísmo en la Música”? ¿Por las sagas germanas a las que ponía la música y que Hitler utilizaba para cimentar su ideología? ¿O fue por el poder de sugestión de la música wagneriana?

Historiadores y músicos indagan por qué la música de Wagner se convirtió en la banda sonora del nacionalsocialismo. ¿Es correcto hacer la dicotomía entre el artista y la persona?

The swastika is an ancient symbol dating back to pre-historical times. Swastika comes from Sanskrit meaning "to be fortunate".
The swastika's history has been misunderstood on the internet, the swastika is more than just a symbol from Buddhism or Hinduism, and predates both those religions. It is one of the fundamental shapes that humans have used in nearly every culture since the beginning. Both Left and right facing swastikas, 卍 & 卐 respectively, are common forms of the swastika seen throughout history and all across the world.
The oldest known example of a swastika was from over 10,000 years ago, and later this shape was one of the iconic symbols of the Mesopotamians, Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Celts, Aboriginal Americans, Sub-Saharan Africans (the Ashanti of West Africa), and Medieval Christians.
After the Nazi adopted the Swastika in 1920 it gradually came to be associated with white supremacy in western culture. Any use of a Swastika in association with Nazism of any form should not be tolerated.

Em um período em que Hitler buscava conquistar o povo alemão, houve na época super produções cinematográficas, todas voltadas em construir uma identidade ao seu povo.
O Judeu Eterno é um filme de propaganda nazista antissemita de 1940, apresentado como um documentário. O título alemão inicial do filme era Der ewige Jude, o termo alemão para o personagem do "Judeu Errante" no folclore medieval.
O filme "O Eterno Judeu" buscava definir o judeu como um inimigo invasor a ser combatido tanto no campo de batalha quanto no campo moral. Foi uma peça fundamental das conquistas Nazistas para o extermínio dos judeus.

Im going to give you guys a quick history lesson about the WWII Nazi and Holocaust. I dont think any of you are going to see a better collection then what I have in this room! There is a so much history in the room its unbelievable, and I keep getting more and more.

I now have 28 rooms in my 75,000 square foot building, which covers wars from WWI to Afgahnistan. We also have 92 running military vehicles, over 5000 helmets, over 4000 flags, over 2500 firearms, and a room for every country the U.S. was in a war with from WWI to present. My museum has to be one of the best in the United States! 95% of everything in the museum is operational.

We give museum tours every Sunday at 10am. We offer private tours if you have more than 20 people or more with reservations. Tours take around two and a half hours.
